Reflection on ethical issue

Describe objectively what happened

My friends asked for my portfolio as reference, they said they have no idea about the portfolio. I have done it earlier but I told them that I haven’t started my portfolio yet because I didn’t want to show them my portfolio.

Interpret the events

The reason I cheated them is they always ask for my assignments to refer and I was sick of these. Some more portfolio required individual’s creativity, we might have same idea of portfolio presentation if they have seen my portfolio framework.

Evaluate what you learned

I shouldn’t have cheated on them as they are my closest friends in university. Cheating is an unethical issue and the initial intention of mine wasn’t being selfish but to avoid plagiarism.

Plan how this learning will be applied

The thing I need to do is be honest to them, I have to tell them the reason why I refuse their request and guide them by using the flawless and clear information from the lecture slides instead of refer my work or cheating them.
