SELF-ESTEEM

From my view of perspective, self-esteem is what I think about the type of person I am, my abilities, the positive and negative things about me and what I expect for my future. We can judge a person's confidence and personality by his/her self-esteem level. Self-esteem is incredibly important as it is a basis of a positive attitude towards living. It directly affects how we think, operate and how we communicate to others. We are able to take new challenges easily and allow us to be in control of our own lives, do what we want to do, it is the source of our mental health. Indeed, majority people face low self-esteem issues which would affect friendship, career, as well as relationship. For me myself, I used to have low esteem and ever involved in a miserable thought which is why my boyfriend would has chosen me? Am I that good enough? I always question him these and he felt irritated eventually. Sometimes I may sabotage the relationship because I know my boyfriend will leave anyway. The end of every relationship would lead me to say, "See, he really doesn't love me that much." Hence, I should stop think negatively, start building up my confidence and think that my partner loves the real me, he should've accepted and love all my perfect and imperfections.

During the the week of Lecture 5, Miss Sumitra has invited a speaker from The Body Shop to talk about self-esteem. What a great news to me!

This is the gift that they distributed to us, how lovely it is!

I used to purchase skin care, make up products from The Body Shop. When there is Christmas exchange gift session or any friend's birthday and I have no any idea what to gift them, The Body Shop is always the first choice come across my mind.

The major reason I love The Body Shop is they always produce their products with natural essence, which is good to our face and skin.

Indeed, good condition face and body skins would gain people's confidence, so do I.
